Two outcast wardens, burdened with the heavy toll of forbidden life-force magic, must descend into a planetary graveyard to leash an ancient, corrupted beast before a tyrannical, mind-controlling empire can use it to subjugate the world. Hunted by a regime that preaches purity while wielding corruption, Morana and Lucien embrace the monsters they are called to be. They journey into the Wastes, relying on sacrificial arts, ancient knowledge, and the bond of shadow to bind what others would awaken. To save the world, they must become the abyss.
