Every child knows the rule: don't look under the bed. Underneath is a dark cel-shaded horror anime short following Carter, a boy who breaks that rule and pays the price. Snatched from his bedroom by Grin Face — a silent smiling entity that lives in the dark gap beneath his mattress — Carter is dragged into The Tuck In, a lightless void filled with grinning creatures, reaching hands, and a relentless nightmare called Hudson Hippo that doesn't stop, doesn't slow down, and wears a smile it was born with.
His only hope is Luna Lu, a girl with pink spiral eyes who already knows this world. She's been here before. She gets Carter out. But the final shot tells you everything: Grin Face never left. It was never under the bed. It lives there. It will always live there.
